Pleasurable and memorable

The experience was pleasurable and memorable, yes we would travel with Stephen again!
I think we ended up with 1600 plus good photos with many featuring food and drink!!!
A highlight was certainly Sluni and the Plitvice Lakes but all the rest was also excellent including a swim at Slatni Rat and swimming at Mlini in the final days.
Korcula was another highlight.
We have traveled considerably over the years and our trip to Croatia was excellent and very professional.
Further to this Stephen has a personalised approach to structuring the tours to the needs of his guests which was exactly what we were looking for.
We traveled as six people in his van and were able to take advantage of certain flexibilities regarding lunches, dinner, shopping, etc.
Stephen has a well planned itinerary that is well paced as he is extremely familiar with the areas he visits.
We had some exceptional small hotels and a wonderful “homestay” overnight. All were chosen by location, history and proximity to things we wanted to see. We also don’t travel 5 star and tend to stay in a location three nights and range out from this base. When you have your own vehicle this makes for interesting and efficient excursions without continual relocation. All accommodation was most acceptable for our style and without
exception was clean and with accommodating hosts who shared local information.
For our group it was a great experience and we saw things and did things that normal tour groups do not do – this is something we seek as we do not like to necessarily follow the “crowds” but do wish to experience the people and places at close quarters.
